Description

The Department of Statistics has a strong interdisciplinary tradition, focused on development and implementation of state-of-the-art and impactful methods for solving topical data-driven problems in natural and social sciences, medicine and engineering, and for advancing the statistical theory and computational tools that underpin those methods. The department is equally interested in junior applicants, with a demonstrated strong research potential, as well as senior applicants, with proven high-level accomplishments. Finally, successful candidates will be expected to contribute, commensurate with their career stage, to a diverse funding portfolio, for both their own research platforms as well as for the PhD program, through the submission of grant applications.
