Description

Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess patients visual acuity and detect any ocular abnormalities or diseases. Prescribe and fit corrective lenses or contact lenses based on patients visual needs. Diagnose and manage various eye conditions, such as glaucoma, cataracts and macula degeneration. Provide pre and post operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries. Collaborate with other other healthcare professionals, such as ophthalmologist and opticians to ensure comprehensive patient care. Educate patients on proper eye care techniques and preventive measures.

Requirements

Strong sales skills to effectively communicate the benefits of eyewear options to patients. Proficiency in aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment during eye examinations and procedures.
