Description
605 Repair is growing, and we are looking for a dependable, motivated Junior Service Technician to join our team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has some construction, maintenance, remodeling, or handyman experience but wants to continue developing their skills. You do not need to know how to do everything on day one. You will work alongside an experienced Service Technician who will help train you in the wide variety of repair and maintenance work we perform.
What You’ll Do
Our work changes from day to day and may include:
Drywall patching and repair
Interior and exterior painting and touch-ups
Trim and finish carpentry
Door and hardware repairs
Deck and railing repairs
Shelving, artwork, TV mounts, and fixture installation
Minor flooring and tile repairs
General property maintenance
Preparing homes for sale
Completing inspection-related repairs
Maintenance and repair work for homeowners, property managers, and commercial properties
Assisting our Senior Service Technician on larger or more complex projects
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who:
Has basic construction, maintenance, remodeling, or handyman experience
Is comfortable using common hand and power tools
Is mechanically inclined and enjoys figuring out how to fix things
Is dependable and shows up when expected
Takes pride in doing quality work
Is willing to learn and take direction
Can work independently as skills develop
Communicates professionally with homeowners, tenants, property managers, and other customers
Keeps a clean and organized work area
Can document work and communicate job progress
Has a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Can perform the physical requirements of construction and repair work
Experience
We value practical experience over a specific number of years in the trades.
Candidates with experience in construction, property maintenance, remodeling, facilities maintenance, carpentry, painting, or similar work are encouraged to apply.
