Overview

Monterey Country Club is a private club in Palm Desert, California, set against the Santa Rosa Mountains in the Coachella Valley. It dates back to 1979 and was designed by golf architect Ted Robinson, who laid out the property as three nine-hole courses that combine into 27 holes of golf, plus a Practice Facility.

The Spanish Colonial-style clubhouse houses formal and casual dining, and the club runs an active social calendar - tournaments, holiday events, mixers, and themed dining nights. Beyond golf, the club's "sports complex" includes 5 tennis courts, 33 pickleball courts, and 4 bocce courts, along with a fitness center.

Experience Required

• Familiar with Golf Tournament Software (Golf Genius)
• Previous work at a Country Club or Resort Course
• Must have an Outgoing Personality and able to handle high volume of golfers, tee times and work duties

Previous work at a 27 hole or 36 hole facility is important but not necessary

Essential Responsibilities

Day to Day Golf Shop Operations to include Opening and Closing

• Assist with Day to Day Operations: Checking in Members and Guests, Open and closing Procedures.
• Help with managing facility Tournament Operations
  Assist with Weekly Men's, Ladies Clubs, Niners Events.
• Conduct Individual and Group golf clinics.
• Help with Inventory control, monthly inventory accounting.
• Assist with purchasing of pro shop merchandise including equipment, clothing, footwear and balls.
• Responsible for daily sales and restocking.
• Assist with Day to Day record keeping, round count, POS close out and work schedules.

Must be flexible with work schedule to accommodate club activities

Monterey CC is a 27 Hole facility with an active membership and tournament play.
